QUEBEC - WORLD PREMIERE
Multidisciplinary artist HUGUES DUGAS has shot some footage in the streets of Victoriaville. At FIMAV, he will be using an ingenious system that allows him to break free of the usual rectangle of video projection. Instead of being turned toward the screen, the projector is aimed at a distorting mirror rerouting the moving pictures. Long fascinated by the physical and symbolic properties of mirrors, DUGAS tries to expand our usual perception of the world around us. Don’t miss this “reflective” work at Colisée A.
