“L’Aréna” is a nod to the hockey rink that inhabits the artist’s childhood memories and the venue where the FIMAV’s major concerts take place. Created especially for the 26^th FIMAV 2010, this work consists of two large-scale video frescoes to be projected on the black curtain at the Colisée. Manon De Pauw creates choreographies of objects, shapes and textures, and manipulates these items in real time, in front of the camera. The screen becomes a metaphor for the ice and the game.
