This is a work born of a fragmented lineage. It is a quest for a space where identity is woven, through listening, in relationships rather than in belonging. It affirms the right to a shifting, irreducible identity that is always in the making—a way of being in the world without being reduced.

Biographical Note:

Montreal-based musician and sound artist. Trained in classical percussion (D.E.C. at Cégep de Sainte-Foy, 2009) and digital music (major at the University of Montreal, 2013), he practices his craft through works from various disciplines as a percussionist and sound designer. Notable collaborations in his career include the experimental feature film Déserts (2016), the interactive installation Jardins suspendus (2022), the documentary David contre Goliath (2023), and the album Blizzard with Ben Nesrallah (2021).

Son parcours est également façonné par son engagement au sein d’ensembles tels que l’ensemble de musique indonésienne Giri Kedaton (2013–2016), l’ensemble de percussion brésilienne Movimento (2012–2015) et Cabale (2014–2022), ensemble de jazz moderne inspiré des musiques de jeux vidéo proposant des concerts interactifs.

Aujourd’hui, ses collaborations s’inscrivent davantage dans des démarches interdisciplinaires, notamment avec le collectif Les Caroles et le Théâtre Déchaînés. Il se concentre désormais sur l’interactivité et la création immersive, ainsi que sur la relation entre geste, technologie, humain et identité. L’exploration des instruments augmentés est au cœur de sa pratique depuis plusieurs années.
