This sound and visual installation features worn-out or damaged mobile devices, revived as attuned organisms that communicate through electronic pulses and whispers, generating feedback, noise, and unstable saturation. These zombie technologies compose a faltering audiovisual orchestration, inhabited by the co-presence of the machines, the audience, and the environment in which they are located.

Biographical Note:

François Quévillon’s interdisciplinary practice explores the interactions between environmental issues, social challenges, and technological developments. His installations explore phenomena of the world and perception through the implementation of processes that are sensitive to variable environmental conditions and human interference. Active for over twenty years, his work has been presented worldwide in exhibitions and events in the fields of contemporary art, cinema, and digital creation.
