[Carré noir] is an interdisciplinary outreach activity by Claude G. Olivier and Pierre-Luc Simon (MIELA). In advance of the Festival de musique actuelle de Victoriaville, fine arts studens of Collège Clarétain have been invited to conceive and create graphic scores that the artists of the collective MMV2005 will interpret*. Produced collaboratively and through exchanges with the musicians, the three pieces unfold in the form of colours and symbols.
