FRIDAY 17 MAY | 9 PM | FREE | CARRÉ 150 (CABARET GUY-AUBERT)
MATS GUSTAFSSON « 1+1+1+1 »
Mats’s concept is simple: an audience member is led into the Cabaret while, from backstage, Mats leads a fellow musician to the same spot. That one musician proceeds to play one minute of music for that one listener in that one room –– hence the name « 1+1+1+1 ». When the music is over, a new listener and another musician are led into the room, and the process –– and the piece –– continues to unfold.
No reservation required. Attendance at « 1+1+1+1 » is first-come, first-served; attendees can present themselves outside the Cabaret as of 8:30pm.
