I’ve been a FIMAV enthusiast since my teens, and it was largely thanks to the memorable concerts I was lucky enough to attend that I became interested in improvised and avant-garde music. These experiences have shaped my practice as a professional musician and improviser, a practice that has given me the chance to collaborate with many musicians working in both Quebec popular music (including Kl\u00f4 Pelgag and Laurence-Anne) and experimental music (notably my collaboration with Simon Trottier and my participation in several free improvisation events). Parallel to my musical career and academic research into improvised music, I have developed skills that have led me to work in production at the Francos and the Festival International de Jazz de Montr\u00e9al. It is now with great pleasure that I work with the FIMAV team as Production Director. My main objective is to ensure that the logistics and technical aspects of the event run as smoothly as possible, and to enable the public to enjoy performances which, I hope, will have the same resonance as they did for me. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
